I haven’t seen this film yet so can’t comment whether it is a genuine spiritual phenomenon or simply a money-making scam but it appears similar in nature to “What The Bleep Do We Know?” which I thoroughly enjoyed. Apparently….this is “The Secret” to everything, the secret to unlimited joy, health, wealth, relationships and love, in fact everything you have ever wanted.
“For the first time in history, the world’s leading scientists, authors, and philosophers have created a Masterpiece which will reveal “The Secret” to you, that has utterly transformed the lives of every person who ever knew it… Plato, Newton, Carnegie, Beethoven, Shakespeare, Einstein. In this astonishing program, are ALL the resources you will ever need to understand and live “The Secret!” Anyone know what it’s all about? See: http://whatisthesecret.tv/revealed/ to view the film trailer. Will comment further if I get chance to download the online movie.
EDIT >> Full version, now available to watch for free here >>
You can view the film here >> Although, I agree with the principles mentioned, mainly the law of attraction, I don’t think it’s anything new, just a re-hash of existing ideas. The theory that we are infact creators and manifest our reality by sending thoughts out into the universe is discussed in many books such as ‘Conversations With God’ and ‘The Power Of Positive Thinking’ etc. Infact, Neale Donald Walsch is actually featured on the program. (Strangely he looks like a stereotypical view of God, white beard etc).
However, anything of that elk that opens your mind to the infinite possibilites of the world and beyond is a beautiful thing, IMHO. I wish I could be positive 100% of the time but find it quite difficult. Oh dear, sent another negative thought into the universe! Now it will be even more difficult. It’s basically another reminder of how you can improve your life, by believing in yourself and your ability to make anything happen if you put your mind to it.
Google says the video’s not available ;(
Sorry, they must have pulled the plug prefering folks spend £20 for the film viewing and workshop. Ahhh, you can still download the film from the official website (mentioned in original post) but it costs $4.95 – What would that be in British pounds, about 3 quid? So the price of a rental.
