A group of men who were clearing bush for the government arrive back in town, claiming that their friend was abducted by aliens. Nobody believes them, and despite a lack of motive and no evidence of foul play, their friends' disappearance is treated as murder.

"This is a case from The X-Files that Scully and Mulder missed: a small-town lumberjack vanishes in the woods and his colleagues claim he was kidnapped by aliens. Problem is, the investigating officer here is sceptical James Garner and he suspects foul play. Director Robert Lieberman wisely concentrates on the emotional impact of the event on a close-knit circle of friends and family, although the eventual revelation of the abduction is genuinely scary. DB Sweeney shines in the lead role and there's good support from Terminator 2's Robert Patrick, The Last Seduction's Peter Berg and Henry Thomas of ET and Legends of the Fall fame, but old pro Garner effortlessly steals every scene in which he appears." - Radio Times Review
